The Message from Frog

Dip below the surface into rich emotions and intuition to access deep wisdom. We stay on the surface, trying to soak up as much sun as possible. Often we shy away from jumping into the dark abyss below (our emotions, intuition and spiritual nature). Yet, that is where our primordial creativity lies, just like the frog who needs to go into the water to lay her eggs and start a new cycle of life.

Moss reminds us that Patience, persistence and stick-with-it-ness are the keys to long term success in life and work. Moss also has a message of Transmutation - it uses all the materials, nutrients and ingredients of the dead trees, leaves and organic matter of the forest to grow and nourish itself.

Backwards-engineering product development, marketing and sales, from the customer perspective saves countless time and money. When we think from our own company's perspective, we loose sight of the end game, the customer, their needs, concerns and questions. "Listener Train of Thought", is an alternative approach which means always keeping in mind what the listener, or our clients, want and need, rather than what we want to tell or sell them.

Go Beyond the Path

We walk along the path that our forefathers have laid for us, rarely questioning where it goes and whether or not it is the right path for us. But, other animals venture deeper into the woods to explore and discover things that they can't reach from the path.

Hands on Eco-learning, school-wide collaboration and creative expression all wrapped into one fun project! This past month, the children of Mount Pleasant Elementary School participated in a unique and interactive learning project lead by Christopher Buddle, a professor at McGill University, who works in the field of Biodiversity Science and is a parent of three children at the school. This “Backyard Biodiversity” project was part of the school’s Earth Day celebrations and its Green Team program, which promotes environmental literacy and leadership. According to Buddle, “The project’s aim was to help define the concept in an accessible manner, and illustrate why biodiversity is important to all of us, and to the well-being of the planet”. The project started with a presentation from Buddle, which included a beautiful and gripping photographic journey about biodiversity, from the rainforests of Panama to the high Arctic tundra. The students marveled as they watched the diversity of life presented on the screen. Buddle explained to the kids why biodiversity is so important. “It gives us food. It helps [...]
