The gift of the Magi, the simplicity and magic of this thing we call life was the teaching from our Christmas story. This season is all about joy, peace and love; learning how to love ourselves so courageously that we finally accept our own self worth, the one with no price tag! We are all priceless.
WikiLeaks threw US diplomacy into chaos when it started releasing more than 250,000 classified State Department cables on November 28, 2010. The firestorm of controversy surrounding the documents leaked raises the question, what are those in power so afraid of?
While we don’t always look in the right places, wanting to be happy, safe, healthy, and cared for are part of our common nature. Practicing compassion and generosity can be healing and contagious. Listening to each other allows us an opportunity to connect at a basic human level.
We need not shy away from darkness, nor do we need to suppress our journeying through darkness. To ensure that we don’t get stuck in a state of emergency, but rather continue in a state of emergence, we need to bring in the light of wisdom, discernment and inner knowing. This Light combined with the loving energy of creativity, passion, service to others, and joy will help complete our metamorphosis.
Energy Posting by Brenda Harley “What’s that buzz; tell me what is happening…what’s that buzz?” Listening to this live performance of Jesus Christ Superstar last weekend in Place Des Arts and taking in the full joy of the moment was almost too much. I had stumbled onto these lost lyrics during the Easter weekend. My back prevented me from saying yes to the bowling outing. Instead, I found myself forced into relaxing on a hot pack, while enjoying the musical that I had heard often in my youth, but had never actually seen. It was incredibly fortuitous to be watching it on Easter; a lovely synchronicity, as I understood fully that this outer experience is now happening on the inner planes. So what exactly does this mean? We are merging both our divine and human selves, no longer needing to die in order to live fully. This planet of ours is changing and so are we.
