About Lianne Bridges

Lianne Bridges (MBA) is a Transformation Guide, Author, and Soul Midwife who walks beside people at life’s thresholds — guiding them as they cross from confusion, restlessness, or transition into deeper clarity, alignment, and purpose. After decades as a strategist and consultant in the corporate world, a profound personal loss awakened her deeper calling: to help others reconnect with their inner wisdom and design lives aligned with their soul’s truth. Since founding Designing Transformation in 2009, Lianne has supported clients across diverse seasons and stages — from young adults seeking direction, to midlife seekers navigating reinvention, to elders anchoring their legacy. Her memoir, Love Will Keep Us Alive, shares her own story of loss, awakening, and re-emergence — an invitation for others to trust their own path of remembrance. Today, Lianne blends Earth wisdom, deep listening, and multidimensional presence to create spaces where people feel deeply seen and supported. Whether through one-on-one mentorship, retreats, or her upcoming podcast, The Bridge to Soul Remembrance, her work is an invitation to step into the sacred alignment of a soul-led life.

They walk among us. Through their loving work, they help to heal the world. Jean Houston calls them “Social Artists”, referring to those who bring focus, passion, skill, tireless dedication and fresh vision to the social arena. Christian Gagne is a social artist, but he is better known in his own circles as a medical doctor. I am privileged to call him a friend. I personally witnessed the compassion and kindness that he infuses into his practice when he sat next to me, providing comfort as my husband (and his friend) passed away. I watched his healing hands gently touch my husband and tend to his comfort in his remaining hours of life. Those same hands have healed thousands and have welcomed countless newborns into the world. It seemed appropriate to me that he would volunteer to work with an organization called, Team Canada Healing Hands (tchh.org). Watching Groundhog Day, Again

Watching the movie Groundhog Day again, I was surprised to realize it was filled with metaphors about life, love and conscious evolution. The motivation and reward for the main character's conscious awakening was love. Often romantic love, parental or other love bonds can help propel the soul to evolve. I experienced this in my own life with my husband, Bob, who died over a year ago.

By |2017-07-13T17:43:57-04:00January 31st, 2011|Crisis, Loss and Renewal, Guest Blogggers & Interviews|

History has proven time and time again that the resilient nature of the human spirit will ultimately triumph when faced with adversity. Although challenges present themselves in a variety of ways, few of us are untouched by adversity. When we find ourselves in difficult times we must refrain from seeing ourselves as the Captain of a sinking ship but rather at the helm of a vessel that is riding a wave. The waters will be calm again for such is the natural ebb and flow of life.

It appears that many of the health benefits of fitness classes for post-partum women like these, including improved cardiovascular fitness, improved muscular strength and endurance, better posture and enhanced flexibility actually only scratch the surface. Psychologists and scientists alike are discovering the healing power of female friendships, including lowering blood pressure, boosting immunity, and promoting healing.

Emergency or Emergence – You decide

By |2017-07-13T17:43:58-04:00January 14th, 2011|Mind, Body & Spirit, Shifting Perspectives|

We are living in a time of great change and awakening in the western world. We have had incredible advances in technology, medicine and in our fundamental thinking. We have become more tolerant, enlightened and financially secure. Yet we are far more stressed and uncertain of our future than past generations. We fear financial ruin and loss even though we are surrounded by abundance. We seek out negative news to support the view of the reality that we have created for ourselves.

Helping Small Business Go Green

By |2017-07-13T17:43:58-04:00December 8th, 2010|Career and Business, Connecting To Nature|

Most small and medium-sized business owners indicate an interest in improving their environmental practices but many do not have the knowledge or resources to begin the process. While there might be a will to become a better steward of the environment, there is a common misperception that it takes substantial green to become green. In fact, businesses can significantly save money by reducing their energy consumption.
