May: A new pulse for the planet!

Energy Posting by Brenda Harley “What’s that buzz; tell me what is happening…what’s that buzz?” Listening to this live performance of Jesus Christ Superstar last weekend in Place Des Arts and taking in the full joy of the moment was almost too much. I had stumbled onto these lost lyrics during the Easter weekend. My back prevented me from saying yes to the bowling outing. Instead, I found myself forced into relaxing on a hot pack, while enjoying the musical that I had heard often in my youth, but had never actually seen. It was incredibly fortuitous to be watching it on Easter; a lovely synchronicity, as I understood fully that this outer experience is now happening on the inner planes. So what exactly does this mean? We are merging both our divine and human selves, no longer needing to die in order to live fully. This planet of ours is changing and so are we. We are in the midst of what will be known as “The Great Shift”. […]

Where two or more gather…let them do so with consciousness Version Français I have spent over 25 years working and consulting for all types of organizations – big, small, public, private, for profit and not. One thing I have found to be consistent is a general malaise in these organizations. The unbridled pursuit of profit at any cost has left them with products that are commoditized, employees at the brink of exhaustion and environments and communities close to depletion. Why is this happening? To understand, I removed myself totally from corporate life and gained a new perspective. I left my consulting practice and immersed myself into the mindfulness community. I went inwards using today’s contemplative practices to gain insight. I have been researching the most successful leaders in consciousness and sustainability looking for the best wisdom teachings. Wisdom meets modern technology with a WOW!

I was extremely fortunate to have attended the Wisdom 2.0 Conference in Silicon Valley last weekend. It is the first of its kind, bringing together leaders in new media and technology, like Twitter, Google and Facebook, with spiritual and social consciousness leaders. I first heard about the conference about a month ago from a friend.

Energy Posting By Brenda Harley Wild dreams and chaotic weather are continuing to reflect the inner turmoil that our earth is currently releasing, as we transition into a higher plane of existence. April is a transformative month and will continue to provide the impetus to re-write or do-over something from your past. Much like Judy Collins’ song lyrics, “I look at life from both sides now….” we are being invited to expand our point of perspective; to take a wide angled shot! Sometimes the tiniest details hold the most importance. My mother is visiting and it is a wonderful opportunity to re-live some old feelings. It is something like an echo and with my daughter also in the mix; I can see both the positive and negative traits. Those that a daughter may have perceived as negative, from the perspective of motherhood, now contain some very valuable positive qualities. Michael Specter: The danger of science denial

What do you think? The pendulum has swung. Some, like Michael Specter, may say too far away from science toward the intuitive approach. It is understandable, because our intuition has been silenced for so long. I, like Michael, look forward to the future and think we are in the most exciting time in history. But not only because of the incredible advancements of science, but because I see for the first time in history an opportunity to integrate knowledge, science and technology with intuition, consciousness and spiritual evolution. I recently asked Brenda Harley, who is a writer and energy healer in our local community, to share some of her experiences, insight and inspirations with DesigningTransformation.com readers. Operation: "Flat Kerrsen" What began as a grade two school project later became a colossal endeavor, bringing hundreds of people together, including current and past Olympic gold medalists, rock stars and hockey legends, to share in the true spirit of the Olympics. It all started with a single note and a picture that was sent by Margo Johnston, Olympic organizer, to her friends and colleagues: I have been asked by a friend to help her grandson with a Flat Stanley project. Kerrsen is 7 years old and lost his father to cancer last year. He has mailed us his little flat self to explore British Columbia...and we are taking him to the Olympics! A road and housing development is being planned between the Bordelais Bog and Dunes Lake. This is home to many bird and animal species as well as old growth forest. It’s not too late to save this place, but we need your help! Believe and it will happen

Often people ask me, does social media really work? It takes so much time, does it pay off? Is anyone really listening? There are times when the "mind viruses" even get to me and I question myself, wondering whether I can accomplish all I have set out to do. Last night, I went to see Deepak Chopra speak in Montreal. He was outstanding and incredibly inspirational, as anyone knows who has seen him live. This morning I was reminded of his "Seven Laws of Success". In particular, I was thinking of his sixth law, the Law of Detachment: Allow yourself and others the freedom to be who they are. Do not force solutions-allow solutions to spontaneously emerge. Uncertainty is essential on your path to freedom. As I try to detach from any particular outcome of my work, with the highest intention and hope that I can help others, I continue to post blog articles and communicate them through social media. Searching for the genesis of deadly pathogens

Nathan Wolfe's Jungle Search What will you say when your children and grand-children ask you how we let our closest living relatives, some of the most valuable and endangered species on this planet, become extinct because we were not able to deal with the issues of poverty around the world? In regions of profound instability throughout the world, where we have intense poverty and growing populations without sustainable resources, there is serious food insecurity. The consumption of bush meat, which is linked to the cross-species transfer of the vast majority of deadly pathogens like HIV, is one of the central crisis occurring in our population and on our planet right now. The responsibility for solving this issue can not rest on the poorest and most vulnerable. There is no easy solutions, but if we neglect this problem, we do so at our own peril.
