As the first miner is lifted from his encased tomb in the Chilean mines where he spent the last two months, he is lovingly greeted and embraced by his son, wife and rescue workers. The whole world is watching. Who is not moved by this sight? The positive messages of the tenacity of the human spirit, global community, people helping each other and oneness are reminders to everyone around the world of our true nature. Let’s take this moment to reflect on our human essence and try to hold onto this sense of connectedness in the future when our lives feel less harmonious and balanced.
