Self discovery, creating a vision and working on self-limiting beliefs and behaviours all increase our inner coherence and provide us with greater balance, so we can express our heart’s greatest desires with ease.

Great leadership starts with inner alignment and self care. Inner alignment is the practice of intentionally influencing one’s thoughts, emotions and actions towards positive outcomes. Cultivating inner alignment and self care helps each individual manage stress, foster resilience and harness their potential.

When we focus on improving our own level of motivation and engagement, we begin to create a ripple effect of positive change in the people around us. When we embody joy, purpose, and a sense of peace in our day-to-day personal and professional lives, this becomes a powerful example for others.

To realize a new path for our work and life, we need to become aligned with the vision of that path. There are 8 steps to achieving inner alignment:

1. Develop a Broader Perspective

A broader perspective and an honest self assessment help us determine our next best version of ourselves. From this perspective, we can see how even the most difficult challenges can be an invitation to discover a new path forward that offers greater satisfaction.

2. Cultivate Awareness & Self Care

Gaining an understanding the different forms of awareness and self care, and their importance in manifesting our dreams helps us to make steps that will infuse our lives with greater clarity and confidence.

3. Shift Limiting Beliefs

When we take an objective look at the beliefs that may be holding us back, we begin to loosen their grip and finally move beyond our comfort zone and overcome even the most deep-seated roadblocks.

4. Cultivate an Abundance Mindset

By fostering a mindset that is open to give AND receive prosperity, we find an alternative to chasing success in our outer lives. We reveal the underlying simplicity of how to truly prosper.

5. Leverage Supporting Beliefs

Identifying our supporting beliefs allows us to use our strengths in deliberate creation to achieve our goals and create sustainable changes in our lives.

6. Use Transformational Tools

There are a variety of transformational tools available to each of us. Learning how to use them to transform limiting beliefs and behaviors improves our emotional resilience, allowing us to overcome our biggest obstacles.

7. Make Space for New Possibilities

Letting go of our past, releasing old patterns and healing wounds, removes the blocks that keep us small, and creates space for greater possibilities in our lives.

8. Create a Personal Development Plan

Developing a plan will help us stay committed and accountable. Monitor our progress, relative to the plan, helps us identify what is working and what areas need adjusting.

When we feel aligned, we begin living with passion, creativity, and expressing our unique gifts… we are ever-evolving and improving. We feel energized, full of vitality and have a vision for the future. This is what it means to be living our potential.
